Reviews and Ratings
I was thrilled with my stay at the hotel. The room, while spacious and comfy, was slightly delayed for check-in but worth the wait. The service was exceptional, always helpful and honest. The central location made exploring easy, though there were minor issues with proximity at breakfast. Overall, a great value for a memorable stay.
The hotel is ideally located just off the vibrant high street in Islington, making it convenient for exploring the shops, bars, and restaurants. The rooms feature a beautiful new bathroom with an excellent shower, although the layout is a bit peculiar with the makeup mirror placed at an awkward angle. While the service was accommodating with prompt provision of an adapter, there were some inconsistencies in the communication about breakfast charges. Despite the minor hiccups, the staff always appeared eager to assist guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
The hotel is a mixed bag - small rooms but with a modern aircon, exceptional service, excellent location near transport links, disappointing dining experience, and could offer a wider variety. The value is good but some issues with room size and dining.
The hotel offers reasonably good-sized rooms for a family with two little ones, well-managed and clean. However, there was an unexpected entry by housekeeping at 8am, and the lack of a tub was a downside. Tea/coffee facilities and toiletries were lovely.
My stay at the hotel was quite disappointing overall. The room, although as pictured, was not up to standard and the check-in process was not pleasant. However, the location was interesting, overlooking the street, and the dining experience had a good variety of options.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were a bit hot, and adjusting the thermostat didn't work well. They are small and basic, but convenient for a quick drink and snack before heading out. The layout with a short hallway blocked out noise effectively. The service was top-notch overall, especially thanks to the lovely front Receptionist Alexa, although the breakfast in the room came at an unexpected cost. The location gave a fresh perspective of London, not overly touristy, and the proximity to the Business Design Centre and Angel station was convenient. The dining experience had its highs and lows, with some delicious options and others that fell short. Overall, the hotel offered mixed value for the price paid.
The hotel's rooms were very nice, of the highest standard with clean sheets and very quiet, which was excellent. However, the rooms were small, dark, and cramped, not living up to the description on the booking website. The service provided by the staff was great, very friendly, professional, and attentive, making my stay very enjoyable. The location was convenient, close to the underground stops and with plenty of nearby restaurants and shops. The dining experience was particularly nice, offering fresh and seasonal products. However, the price for the stay was a bit on the pricey side, and there was no water in the room initially, which was a downside.
The hotel had everything you could ask for, but cleanliness could be improved. The double bed setup was not ideal for my mom and me. The service was exceptional, although some delays were experienced. The location was perfect for exploring London's hidden gems. The dining experience had its ups and downs due to a large conference party taking precedence.
The hotel had a comfortable and well-maintained courtyard view, but the check-in process was delayed until 3:00. The rooms, although far apart even on the same floor, were cozy and relaxing. Overall, a good value for money option.
The hotel room we stayed in was lovely, although it wasn't cleaned properly as we found a shopping tag from a previous guest by our bed. However, once we settled into our suite and explored the hotel facilities, everything was excellent and couldn't have been better.
